The library staff was thrilled and surprised when coming to their monthly staff meeting to find an amazing spread of homemade breakfast tacos, muffins and fresh fruit and coffee! Every year, the American Library Association chooses a day in April to encourage communities nationwide to celebrate “National Library Workers Day“. This year the Friends group decided they wanted to show their love and support to the library staff by bringing them breakfast on one of their early work days.

A job well done to Friends members Bernadette Johnson, Carol Woeber and Fred Woeber for all the work they put into planning this event and going the extra mile with having everything homemade. Library staff all agreed that it was the best staff meeting yet and was the perfect way to start out their day.
